[ Off Topic: Silicon Investor Conflict ]

To All: Please pardon the personal nature of this post...

It is my understanding that I have been slandered by a certain Doug R here on SI. As tainted words about me have been passed, I would like to leave the decision to the readers and participants to either dispel or confirm the content of his words.

It began with a request for trading ideas...upon the mention of ACRT,
I replied:

exchange2000.com

His reply:

exchange2000.com

...and the following conversation on AOL late at night (note that Doug R's AOL identity is "Tiric":

__________________________________________________________________

Tiric: exchange2000.com
ETr8der: That's what you spend your time on...okay
Tiric: You know what I spend my time on. I NEVER had an unkind word to say about you.
ETr8der: I hold to my views that FA and TA is a more balanced approach. I am entitled to my opinion
Tiric: But you crossed the line.
Tiric: You made a personal attack.
ETr8der: You imperil the financial health of your followers when you recommend ACRT to them without giving them appropriate warning of possible consequences
Tiric: Bullshit. I have no "followers" You're being naaive. I called ACRT "too damn low" when it hit 12. It's been to 17 since then. YOU HAVE AN AGENDA.
Tiric: naiive
ETr8der: Yes. To make others aware that if they buy ACRT, they risk holding a stock that can implode.
ETr8der: My agenda is risk reduction and awareness.
Tiric: Any stock can implode.
ETr8der: Some more than others.
Tiric: There is NO solid evidence. ACRT's numbers are sound.
Tiric: AOL is more of a risk than ACRT.
ETr8der: From a pure TA-oriented individual like yourself, I will give less weight to your words.
Tiric: You didn't read the post.
"He fully understands that the technical profile of a chart takes the whole of the supply/demand dynamic of the entire participating investor base of any stock into account which reflects that community's consensus of the viability of the fundamentals"
ETr8der: To an extent, fundamentals are reflected
Tiric: You're going to tell me that YOU have a better handle on the fundamentals than the ENTIRE investor base.
Tiric: Posh
ETr8der: Not at all. You said that
Tiric: And you have said nothing.
ETr8der: Right. Just that ACRT is not exactly the best stock to recommend because of its shady background
ETr8der: That's all.
Tiric: ACRT has NO shady background. You're being taken in by pink, not me.
Tiric: Later.
ETr8der: You don't do your homework.
ETr8der: Bye.

To the readers:

I bare myself to you: you have followed me for over one thousand posts. My defense lies in the words I have posted on countless nights, over countless hours.

If you feel that Doug R's words have weight and his description of me applies, and that my acts have brought into question my integrity (i.e. my surreptitious agenda to provide selling pressure on ACRT, my supposed short), then I will submit my resignation here on SI immediately.

Otherwise, I will continue as I have done in the past...and that is to help provide others with the means to make profitable market decisions by discussing educational subjects, and other topics of interest to the trader and investor.

I await your vote.

Sincerely,

Rainier Trinidad

PS. An article about the CEO of ACRT:

PPS. From his post: "...gullibility inherent in his level of life experience."

You're not dealing with an average 23 year old individual.
