I believe the Namtai sales were in $HK as were some other smaller accounts. Mita may be. As a percentage, the Namtai sales have declined but they've now added VTech (HK), so the end result would likely be the same percentage of sales in $HK.

They've always stated that their sales are in $US or $HK and they keep cash in $US. It appears that they attempt to operate as if they are a US company (that's what they basically are with the NASDAQ listing). It would simplify costs and sales and eliminate hedging with the $HK peg to $US.

Let's see. US listed company incorporated in the Virgin Islands with Samoan subsidiaries operating out of HK with manufacturing in China. Stockholders are in HK, US, and Germany.
It's an International Conglomerate!!
