I maintain a buy on AMD and a short on INTC (Margins will be pressured as a direct resullt of lower ASPs)

Think about the K6 pricing (will a company pay INTC $1,052 for a 200Mhz Kalmath (or $500 for a Kalmath 200Mhz) when they are for sale at $350 at AMD. (So how is INTC going to keep revenue rising if ASP will remain constant of slightly decline) Think about it folks (listen to what people are saying.

I THINK INTC WILL EXPERIENCE A NEGATIVE MIX SHIFT IN ASP/MARGIN AS A RESULT OF THE INTRODUCTION OF THE K6.

I THINK AMD WILL EXPERIENCE A POSITIVE MIX SHIFT IN ASP/MARGIN AS A RESULT OF THE K6.

Regards.

P.S. Folks this is not rocket science.
