Jim Jubak @MSN calcs ASND to be $62 Jim backs his conclusion w/calculations available at the site: investor.msn.com His bottom line ... Ascend is the trickiest of the three. Is a dollar of earnings at Ascend worth as much as a dollar at Cisco? Over the long haul, I think the answer is a clear no. Could investors get carried away by the short-term momentum of a company driven by the red-hot ATM market? Sure. In fact, I think it's likely. Add in the continued consolidation among network equipment suppliers -- buyouts of Ascend are sighted about as frequently as Elvis these days -- and I'll plunk for a P/E of 51 next June. That gives me a one-year target price of $62, a potential gain of 44%.
