Swissray's Direct Digital Radiography Systems are
Gaining Market Acceptance
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JUNE 4, 1998--SWISSRAY
INTERNATIONAL, INC. (NASDAQ: SRMI - news) today announced more
installations of its multifunctional direct digital radiography system, the
AddOn-Multi-System, in the United States and Europe.
Swissray is the world's first company offering a multifunctional direct digital x-ray
system which handles examinations of recumbent, seated and upright patients.
The digital x-ray image is displayed and ready for diagnosis in only 20 seconds.
This revolutionary procedure is a benchmark in efficiency and cost effectiveness
for plane x-ray examinations. Experts judge the image quality as brilliant and the
image processing features of the SwissVision workstation offer advanced
diagnostic possibilities.
Additional installations will take place over the next few weeks at Seaview
Radiology P.C., Staten Island, NY, located on the north campus of Staten Island
University Hospital, Dutchess Radiology Associates, Poughkeepsie, NY and the
VA San Francisco, San Francisco, CA, in association with the University of San
Francisco. In Switzerland one of the most prestigious university hospitals, the
Inselspital Berne, will be equipped with the direct digital AddOn-Multi-System.
