Thread.. I owe the thread more than the terse goodbye I issued this afternoon. Too many fond memories and I did enjoy the posts.. even the heated ones since I never hold any grudges more than a few seconds......(My Master doesn't allow that).

Today we announced a big Siemen's contract.. they are a provider of mem modules to cpq and others. We also are vendors of cpq and dell.
I can predcit cpq and to some extent dell with very good accuracy.
sometime to the $ moves.
I started becoming concerned that someone might think that I have inside info on these stocks.. that came up recently.
I have no inside info but I do not think that I could prove that to the SEC cops. One of these days I would call something and then that afternoon it would happen.. I sometimes know the fuutre regardless
of post that say you cannot know the future.
I regret it..but I need to stop talking about cpq and dell.

last prediction... they are going up.. but I do not think they will be spared the massive pc mfg pull backs coming.
If the street spares cpq. It will be the first time and I've owned the stock since before it was public in 1983.
The street will tank all of them. Cpq will not be tanked bec. of poor earnings. It will be an industry thing and their strategy and earnings will be there. Although they don't have to keep exceeding expectations by 25%. Their re-eng projects will work and the Japanese
are not going to hurt cpq but help them by making the competiton so strong that weakies fall out and cpq gets more market share not less.
Bye guys..
I'll miss the thread.
I could answer some questions on the covin thread that are I/S and pc strategy related..then you could deduce what effect that would have on
cpq..that's legal. But as a director of my present company i have to avoid any chance of a problem..
thanks.....and I hope you understand.
