>>Yep, that's all I need...beeps, whistles, ect
I don't play music or games...am I missing out on something? <ggg>
I just assumed a computer had to have a sound card and speakers
to produce a beep here and a beep there.
So I just by a small speaker and plug it in where?<<

If you purchase an Asus P2B-L motherboard you connect the speaker to the Creative SB-Link Header. According to the Asus P2B-L feature list,
reproduced below, the Asus P2B-L has built in Creative Sound Blaster sound capability.

However, I am not familiar with the terms CPU & Power Supply Temperature Headers, Chassis Intrusion Heater and SM Bus Header.
Would any body care to explain these code words?

Intel 82558 100/10Mbps Fast Ethernet Wake-On-LAN Onboard Controller
Onboard Creative SB-Link Header
CPU & Power Supply Temperature Headers
Chassis Intrusion Heater
