AMAT also reported quarterly earnings 8 cents shy of estimates, and in the conference call they made some pretty negative comments for the entire industry saying that they don't expect things to improve until the latter part of 1997. Would appreciate any comments and affect AMAT will have on MU and the rest of the semis.
