Maybe you will comment on my arbitrage theory, what do you think of taking advantage of arbitrage on betting?
.. I go to a biased casino .. Jazz are favored by 5 .. then I go to Vegas joint ..Jazz are only +3 or even +2 cause of Bulls money?
I bet the Jazz and 2, the Bulls and 5, and if the jazz win by 3 or 4 I take both pots? Minus juice of course!

WAY BACK ... when I worked for a living.....
I had an employee who called on about 35 locations per day and he knew most all the folks at the places pretty well. There were a whole bunch of different "team loyalists" who would from time to time place a small wager on the outcome of sporting event.
As my town has had, and still has, an electic mix of folks from out of state due to the percentage of industrial jobs in the employment sector ( county pop 45k -- 3500 industrial jobs) there exists rooters for teams from all over.....

what I'm getting at is --- he would make book on an arbitrage basis, even though he had no idea about arbitrage.
He couldn't lose and could win a bunch. Say the Bills were playing the Giants plus 5 --- a big fan of the Bills would get the Bills minus 10 at one place..... he'd go down the road and a big fan of the Giants would get the Giants even..... he couldn't lose and could collect both...
His wife found out about it and called me wanting to make him stop doing it, she felt that gambling was sinful ...... I laughed so hard it hurt but not in front of her.....
I was the one who taught him how to do it.......ggggg .. I "gently" suggested to him that he give his wife a gift using some of the profits and see if that didn't calm her down some.
So , he gave her a gift every month or so, and things calmed down....
She just had to have it "properly" explained to her that what he was doing was a pretty good deal........
I sold out the business 10 years or so ago, and as far as I know, he's still doing it ----- she told me a few months ago that he was taking her to Nassau this summer and she wanted to tell me thanks......GGGGGG

BTW, and on a more boring subject --- while I was at the broker earlier, I went long OEX when the SPX was at 1097 and cleared out when it hit 1102 a little while later for a nice profit.
He doesn't have an internet connection so I could post.
