Dell'Oro Group 1Q98 Router & Remote Access Report; Multi-Service Voice
& Data Routers from Cisco, Hypercom, and Motorola Prop Up Sagging Market

PORTOLA VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 5, 1998--Router sales
declined Q/Q to $1.3 billion in 1Q98, and Remote Access sales declined
Q/Q to $500 million in 1Q98 -- a 6 percent decline Q/Q for both markets,
according to the Dell'Oro Group 1Q98 report released last week.

Excluding sales of new Multi-Service voice and data routers, legacy
data-only router sales were down 12 percent Q/Q.
