Old news. ICST stated in a press release that the TXN rumor was false. The CY rumor is just that, a rumor. At this time, ICST has suspended talks with an unspecified interested party(s). Any other activities regarding ICST being purchased are not at a stage that requires disclosure. Regarding CY being the possible purchaser of ICST, I have not been convinced that CY is in a position to buy the likes of a ICST. Clearly, ICST has a respectable position in a niche market and is fabless. But, CY isn't exactly overflowing with cash. And what kind of stock deal would be feasible given CY valuations? I suppose it's not out of the realm of possibilities, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were a ICST shareholder. The real question is whether this would be good for CY shareholders?
