TO ALL, RETRACTION?

I called my broker to see about have them electronically held
there instead of receiving actual paper. They said you have
always had them held electronically and that receiving the
actually paper is not advantageous.

They said that the SEC regulates that no instituion can borrow
your shares if they are fully paid for! Only stocks bought
on margin may be lent for purpose of shorts. I didn't trust
the 1st level, so I asked for the 2nd level. Same thing.
3rd level. Same thing.

So folks, if you have fully paid for your shares, I'm told from
multiple sources that it is not necessary to demand your certs.
Your certs are already held at your instituion. And not even
you institution can borrow from them.

You may want to verify this with your broker.
