Joe- My comments on the real audio interview w/ CEO Joe Marengi....I am not impressed! Like to hear your thoughts. He does not seem to flamboyant to me, In fact he seems sort of laid back. He must be tired but where is the fire???

SALAH - Any comments on the interview? How about anybody else?

Some additional thoughts...Marengi "We need to get the word out <blah, blah, blah>"..."We need to educate our base <blah, blah, blah>" "John Young is my mentor...he gave me all his numbers and said I can call him any time" <<Who is running the company!>>

"Our selling model has not changed...we continue to sell the product..." <<Who reports to who?>> "We will put a marketing person in place to describe the marketing issue" <We have to be more agressive than this!!!>

"I am flatening out the company reporting structure...." "Novell is our best beta site" <<I certainly hope so!>> "We are a virtual team and <ugh..ugh> We even use GroupWise ..."<Give me a break, promote how YOU use it..it sounds like an after thought>.

"The sales team is functioning quite well <then sales and revenue met expectations?>...I just need to replace myself". "People do not understand what we are doing?" <What are you doing NOW to explain this>. "We must open ourselfs more..explain to analysts...We are starting right now..bring the passion back to Novell employees" <Sounds like morale is really low!>

I do not know Joe, I sure hope those sales numbers come in and the shareholders get a better answer as to "Who is running the company".

Sounds like business as usual.

Hey Scott...what do you think???
