Hi Art and other IBM enthusiasts_ If SEG QNTM & WDC are suffering in the hard drive business, if HWP and DEC and Hitachi are suffering mid-range, if CPQ NEC Packard Bell and to some extent DELL are finding their stock prices down, if INTC is suffering in the chip business, if every semi conductor company is suffering, if NOVL, ORCL, CA, SYBS etc and others are hurting in the software market... don't you think IBM is floating on high expectations?

It seems to me they're going to come up a little shy of best hopes if others are having problems, yet best hopes seem to be driving the price.

Any thoughts or is IBM immune to what's happening in the world.
