That is true, but remember those are people. I thik the fact that there are millions of Christians, guarantees the fact that there will be opinions that "are all over the map". I do think christianity has core values and meaning(remember I am not christian, or Jewish)If people who call themselves members, or even leaders, of that religion act outside the true meaning of it, they reflect on themselves only.

I think the same could be said of any religion. There are Muslims who espouse violence. I dont think that renders the Muslim religion meaningless. there was man named Meir Kahane who claimed to represent the Jews. His slogan was "for every Jew, a .22" he espoused violence in a major way. I dont feel that he truly represented the Jews or rendered Judiasim meaningless in any way. IMO, he represented only his sick violent motives and nothing more.
