NW, I am new to this thread and definitely a low,low level pc amateur. Wondering if there is a site or book or mag that gives some sort of comparison of components in one place. MOBOs seem to have become increasingly changeable with different characteristics and benefits/drawbacks, however when a novice such as myself sees ads in papers for pc systems at different prices it is hard to compare -- especially MOBOs. Vids, soundcards, etc. get some write up but being a resource hog I haven't heard before (but concur). Anyway if you know of a resource that succintly compares components would appreciate a point.
