hey tide thanx... with regard to your comments, i found this info.....is this what you were relating to....? The first MultiCOM enabled modems which utilize ISDN technology are expected on the market by June 1998. The owners of these modems can turn on the MultiCOM capabilities with an electronic key, as advertised in a Company prepared flier that is to be packaged with every modem. The key will be delivered over the Company's Internet Web site upon charging the Company's $30 license fee on any major credit card, using a secure server. Furthermore, a large number of existing modem owners are expected to accept the modem manufacturer's offer of a free download of a firmware upgrade that includesÿMultiCOM enabling features. The Company believes that its ongoing discussions for licensing MultiCOM with modem developers will result in expanding markets for the MultiCOM license, including multiline analog modems. MultiCOM can be used in conjunction with the Company's SwB7 Advanced Voice Telephony (AVT) software, which is already being licensed to a leading manufacturer of digital modems. The SwB7 MultiCOM AVT combination, enables a worker with one ISDN line to browse the Web, send or receive email, participate in a conference call, and see who's calling all at the same time. talk to you soon........
