Where did I say that E-commerce is a profitless marketplace for Netscape?

Well, you did not say that, but in response to my posting:
In any case, based upon a recent posting of yours, you seem very bearish on NSCP. I believe this is, in
part because of a lack of understanding the focus (or that there even is a focus) of our company, and how
we can differentiate ourselves in the marketplace.>

you said:
You want to differentiate yourself in a, thus far, virtually profitless marketplace.

I assume that you are talking about the portal marketplace, not the E-Commerce marketplace. This underscores my point that I don't think you really understand what business we are in. E-Commerce is the heart of what we're about, and the portal is simply one aspect of it. We can differentiate our portal by emphasizing usage for businesses, including providing a convergence of E-Commerce with the portal space.
They converge when you look at the critical decision that companies have to make when it comes to E-Commerce: build, buy, or outsource. Our client/server technology is the build solution, our application products is the buy solution, and our portal is the outsource solution. Have you read any of the press? Either you haven't read it or you don't get it, because what I'm saying is out there.
