Marty,

They aren't showing the same representation of the data, but they are both based on the same data.

The first graph is two separate curves, one the total value of the June calls at each possible stock price at expiry, AND the second curve is the total value of the June Puts Vs the various stock expiry prices.

The second graph, the bottom one, is the numeric SUM of the two curves in the top graph. That's why the Max-Pain point is not necessarily at the cross over point in the top graph.
