Lee: Can you get me more info on this machine? Usually in ultrasonic size reduction (often done within a fluid medium to transmit the ultrasound energy) it works best with hard and brittle materials. The ore's hardness is probably between 6 and 7 on the Mho's scale, but this is a guess. As for wearing the chains, I presume these chains are involved in the transport of the ore not the ultrasonic grinding. Can you clarify? Zeev
