Charles, I went to your site. I have what I think is a better prospect right here in Timmins and I am accumulating $$ to do my own staking frenzy. It is fairly cheap if you do not need to hire others to stake for you. The big problem is the dense bush(temperate jungle) with the black flies, hrose flies, deer flies, mosquitos, snakes, bears etc,.
At least in the SW all you have to contend with is sidewinders and the heat.
Do they allow office staking(pegging) down there, where you go to a map in the land office and delineate your area and record it, or do you have the traditional 4 corner staking, or central post staking with a radius?

There is a movement to go to officestaking here in Ontario. Australia worked out quite well. When 5 people show up they give them smaller pieces, unlike the field staking where firs to stake wins it, Some places it is first back to the staking office who gets it. Varies greatly. I hear the fedsare trying to make staking more expensive with bigger fees and more assessment work spent as some have complained that huge mineral values give the feds little(except the income taxes) Look what they did with radio spectrum allocations and oil leases. How would you like them to open an area to stake and the highest bidder got it? All the Asarcos, Barricks etc would grab all the potentailly valuable land.

Bill
