The reason I mention this is because Jack Arnold is an individual.
Just as you all are -when considered separately.
Each of you would have done something. Each of you might swear
the outcome would have been better. That you might have been able
to take CVIA out of the situation and continue on to something
better. Yes indeed, if it was "you" in that room instead of Jack.

As a representative for CVIA you would have been alone.

But there were other people in this room as well. If it were some
"competition", it would have been your mind against theirs, one
step at a time, day after day. You would be competing for a
merger, or an acquisition. But what are they competing for?
-and how long can they entice you to stay? -as they get what they
want one day at a time?

They can always discuss "this problem" privately with each other
after hours while you are working. You have to earn a living
you know. They would then offer the reasons and excuses,
continually explaining how things will eventually
work out and that "this next step" is necessary.

Now it seems the next necessary step has become
"Inform the people the money is really still here".
We must demonstrate that a piece of paper exists explaining
"the terms of a loan".

Here are some questions that I'm really not asking:

1) When does this loan appear to be legally written?

2) When was this loan really written?

3) When does it appear that the money left the hands of CVIA?

4) When did the money really leave the hands of CVIA?

Questions I am asking myself are:

1) Day by day, might I have done better than Jack Arnold
in this circumstance?

No, for certain. I'm inexperienced.

2) Would I have found a "good time" to walk out of this?

No, And it would have gotten harder every day.

If you can appreciate the statement
"Believe nothing that you read"

The legal results will simply be legal results.

I'm sorry If it offends anybody, but there is a moral issue here.
Once more from yesterdays post 5444
(For the love of money, they want Jack to be accountable for
their actions. That is not so. They are accountable.

This is the way I feel about it.
Jack is a pawn in the game for trying.

Use the good in his example.
Try again.
