ALL Christians have ONE thing in common. They ALL BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. This is the ONLY thing that Christians agree on. From that point on they all go in different directions (all over the map). Each Christian then rationalizes which aspects of "Christianity" they will accept or reject.
A Christian can break all ten commandments everyday, 365 days a year and still call himself a Christian solely because he believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That is the ONLY absolute requirement necessary to be a Christian. Everything else can be modified, rationalized, modernized, revised, upgraded, downgraded, deleted, or added to suit each individual Christian. And that Christine is exactly what they do. That is why Hitler could look Mother Thresa right in the eye and say "I am just as good a Christian as you".
