This is above market. The 1st time Novell bought back shares they bought them above market. It would be useful to go back and see how they did it. There was some speculation that they bought back shares above market from some insiders.

I'm sorry if my suspicious gene is displaying itself but I can't help but wonder if the BOD are in on something here again.

Because an open market purchase of 10% of the stock is equivalent to all of the trading volume in the stock for two weeks. Since we know that programmed buying of 10K blocks can move NOVL up, my natural reaction is to suspect that they would move the stock up if they did it on the open market therefore they won't do it. Instead they will repeat their previous performance.

So they might buy the stock at 14 and not have the stock trade at 14 is what I am implying. Tell me it isn't so.
