Currently the entry level X86 CPU is 233 to 266 MHz (more likely 266 MHz). The next Q (i.e. September), it seems reasonable to assume that the entry level CPU will be 266-300 MHz. And by December Q, it will likely move to 300 - 333 MHz.

Now let's take a look at IDTI's volume production schedule. Assuming they execute flawless (not very likely), the volume production of 240-266 Mhz Winchip 2 begins in late August and September and 300 Mhz comes out by the end of the year. It seems to me under the optimal conditions, IDTI is still a bit late in the CPU game.
