"How elastic is the price of water?"

This is a good question. You can buy water for 59 cents a gallon up to $2 for 12 oz. What is the true difference? Packaging, marketing, hype, and taste? I have talked to people who will tell you they can taste the difference in bottled water. I myself can't. Aqua Vie has a lot going for it IMHO. Good packaging and taste with a unique name. Saratoga to me speaks of a local brand basing its sales off the local natural spring history the town has. But this is a local or regional attraction to me. I have visited this town and seen the water on the shelves.

Price is a funny thing. I have sold branded soft drinks and private label as well. If you price a private label product to low it will fail to sell, as the consumer perceives the product to be bad and will not sample or buy it. You need to be no more then 20% cheaper then the national brand. I am currently selling a commodity that is branded, and the consumer is willing to pay a nice premium for it.

My only concern with Aqua Vie weather or not Can Tom get distribution?
The weakness in the stock price indicates to me that the street is concerned. Tom needs to get this gig going
