Weekend speculation topic: This quote is taken from the BAY news on Yahoo... Since I remain wildly optimistic, I predict that Nortel will join forces with WSTL and give them a $100 mln cash kitty to develop new dsl products... in any event, the good stuff from Supercomm will surely? give us a boost... "On Friday, Nortel said it will announce a major industry alliance at a trade show next week in Atlanta. Analysts said it was not clear if the alliance has anything to do with Bay Networks. Nortel spokesman Peter Janacek declined to comment on the speculation. ''We're not speculating on rumors whatsoever,'' he said on Friday."
