Gene: KLAC had a P/B of 1.8 and a P/S of 1.4 at 1996 trough valuations. At the close of $27.625 today, KLAC is trading at a P/B of 2.04 and a P/S of 1.63. Seems like a fair deal to me.

The key, of course, is how long this slump lasts and when the market stops looking at P/B and P/S and starts looking forward to EPS. The longer this slump lasts, the lower they might go in price based on P/B and P/S once the numbers hit the books and if visibility continues to be limited. If you figure out where the inflection point might be, please let me know <g>.
