why are you convinced that LU will buy ASND and not NN ? I talk to a lot of people in the industry and those who say this I trust. I certainly didn't come by it myself. As for another CIEN, I'd probably go with Cymer [CYMI]. DUV photolithography. They supply the top four equipment vendors [excuner laser and steppers] : ASMLF, Nikon, Canon, and one other I always forget. Right now they have 85% of the market and since their technology enables sub-micron chip design, chip makers have to have it. Stock broke 16 at the lowest point last week and has rebounded to 18+.
