Pravin,

While the speed in terms of x-fer rate on RDRAM etc. is very fast, the real problem with ram is often the initial look-up penalty. I don't know enough of RDRAM to say what the first byte penalty, but it is probably an order of magnitude greater than high-speed L2 cache memory (just my thought anyway). However there are so many factors which need to be considered that I can't give you a yes or no either way. Sorry.
