At least I know Big Dog knows what a public float is.. To: Jeffrey C. Garland (24020 ) From: Pugs Friday, Jun 5 1998 2:06PM ET Reply # of 24140
Jeff , I posted that the float was approx. 200MM shares with 70MM in the public float. I also said this has NOT been verified. Has the TA or company verified to you the accurate numbers, if so, please post them on the TVSI thread . TIA Pugs And that ain't a very good description. Here's a couple of numbers to work with (and are the latest reported by the company in a public filing..On March 24, 1998, the Registrant had 123,496,864 shares of common voting stock held by non-affiliates. On March 24, 1998, the issuer had 149,655,244 shares of its $0.0001 par value common stock outstanding. If I recall the broad definition correctly, the public float= the outstanding shares(we won't talk future fully diluted)minus those held by insiders (affiliates),as well as any treasury shares the company holds. All this said, the filing gives us the public float number.123,496,864 ...PS since no one has verified if the outstanding number(not float<g>) is still 149,655,244,can you Pugs, give me the name and phone number of the transfer agent...the company apparently forgot to mention this in ALL their filings ( an oversight??). DD And Pugs,I'm not stalking you,I'm asking you to verify these numbers you posted..and supply us with the transfer agents number,so we can verify the outstanding share count..thanks-and I'll take an answer of "do your own DD" to mean you can't find,or don't know the name and number.......Lets try to get a few verifiable facts on this thread.. PSS-for what it's worth,I left a message with the "corporate answering machine"<g> requesting a return call with the TA information..apparently they were to busy..deal making, and can't afford a receptionist to answer the phone (understandable..this would cost this company, who says they will have $100M in revenue..$5 or $6 an hour) |
