Aurum, This is why the microfine gold saga and the hard to assay valuable DD that people walk over and ignore is so laughable.
Thall and I have given them references for NiS fusions with an AA or NA finish which definitely get all the PG metals and gold and we get back comments about oblique interferences that any assayer worth his salt intercepts with some preliminary qualitative wet work.
I think the prey on the old sourdough myth and yankee ingenuity beating them scientists which uneducated people seem to cling to.
The scamsters know just what buttons to push and try to stay vague and legal by passibng the problems off as hardto assay or economically impossible to extract. Can you imagine 3-5 OPT of PG metals uneconomic? You could afford to dissolve the whole thing in AR and plate it out.
