Gall,

Absolutely no one has cast doubts on the integrity of Dr. Maduna and his efforts at the DME. Pretty obviously, some time ago, a since "retired" member of the old guard seems to have committed some acts to the detriment of the DME, the people of RSA, SUF and its shareholders. I can't hold the DME as a whole responsible for one crook's actions, but I can expect that previous wrongs will be righted.

Like many have said, time will tell. Please report on activities next week.

I'm starting to think that maybe you don't work with/for De Beers. InfoSPINman obviously does, and his easy convoluting of facts and statements suggests his true profession is either lawyer/adman, but you seem too raw and ragged for this type of work. Could it be that you are closely related to an heir, or maybe a former employee of the DME?

You said previously that you spent time in the Canadian armed forces, but have no understanding of hockey: My post refering to a hockey game was not a threat to anyone (lord knows most Canadians are loath to act in a heavy-handed manner), but rather to suggest while this "game" is still on, we will protect our honour, and not go quietly. If we're treated fairly, fine, but if not, well we'll just see how much trouble we can stir up.

Such a shame, because we'd really like to work together with De Beers, unless they're stealing from us. I guess Mr. Mungo Soggot should be expecting a visit from a De Beers "spokesman". Good for him and his publishers to continue to show courage to continue to speak the truth.

Has De Beers paid their money due by mid-May yet? What about due diligence on their part? Why on heaven's name would they insist on DD at Marsfontein when they assure everyone that they found M1 over a decade ago? Their data on Camafuca is not suspect, so why the delay on Marsfontein? Is anyone else, including the "heirs", thinking that STALL, STALL, STALL is the big part of De Beers plan. Delay tactics only serve to help the status quo.

Can De Beers get a prospecting permit from the DME? How about a Mining permit? I sure hope all the high priced lawyers from De Beers and the "heirs" haven't underestimated the new intestinal fortitude of the South African government, and especially Dr. Maduna. If he acts consistently with his public statements, and those of his deputies and representatives in Canada, then proper justice will prevail.

Enjoy your weekend. Are you on training drills with some military friends? Or have you "retired"?
