I knew about the previous post but thought, perhaps wrongly, that it had changed, due to the recent CRTC announcements, to indicate a speed up in their efforts to get customers. I am an ICM customer (and IIA shareholder of fairly long standing,I might add, since June 20 1997) and find that ICM works like a charm - the green light in my system tray is on at this very moment!
I must say I am, while not anti-Bell, very pro-IIA. I rather like to advance the fortunes of the little guy , especially when they develop the technology in the first place, like IIA did with ICM.
I shall take your advice and give the "internet telephony" a rest, until IIA enters that field in some manner (which I fully expect they will, sooner than later).
About Bell and their Internet Call Display, I haven't heard a word about its launch for months, although I watch for it closely since it is competition to ICM, and I don't have a clue as to what the holdup is. Does anybody know the answer?
Cheers,
