CheckFree needs 2 elements to take off...FWIW.

One is in place and in motion.

Brooks you touched on the first....the margins are high and going higher.

We who have been here a while...Watched CheckFree absorb the Intuit Services[ISC] business and convert ever higher percentages of paper payments to digital in that business and their own....to what 50%?

Then comments on the Visa Deal...."CheckFree currently processes more than 50 percent of its payment transactions electronically. The new joint venture infrastructure will enable that percentage to climb as high as 85 percent, given the combined resources of the two organizations.

The second element was touched on by LongTermInvestor...Subscriber Growth.

This one the Jury is still out on...as the Banks convert their systems from direct dial-in to Internet based, and more and more Banks move to the Internet to provide banking services. We should begin to see a steady rise in subscriber growth over the next several years....a chart which would look like the earnings pattern of an adult American. There should be a big hump coming here if this service offering is going to catch on.

That is what everybody is waiting for....the first element is a done deal, built in anticipation of the second element coming to pass.

One Without Two still makes One in this case.

One Plus Two will make Ten.

Kinda like Rocket Fuel...nothing happens until the Elements are Combined. When the "Street" sees the second element we take off.

But for now...we have this grand facility, super space center and wonderful rocket positioned for launch....Just waiting for the fuse to be lit.
