Hi Claude: Projected earnings (without any emerald production) are 1.82 US for year 96/97 (year commences in August), 2.95 US in 97/98, 4.09 US for 98/99 and 4.61 US for 99/2000. If the market assigns a modest PE of 10x projected earnings sometime in the next 18 months....for a company growing much faster....whew!! I had been using the 18 month $20 US stock price target which the analysts had been batting around when one US buck was worth 1.40 of ours. Looking forward to the turn of the century..if all goes as planned and the exchange means 5 Canadian earnings...and with a 10 PE..equals 50 bucks...so if they do acquire an emerald producer, earnings could grow faster...who knows? I would suppose there are a lot of variables, lots of risk..but what more could you ask for a spec? Regards....
