Gene, first of all, this survey is most likely NOT very scientific. If the voting was done via the Internet, then it is HIGHLY biased towards the computer literate, which does not take into account the average PC buyer who does know much and relies heavily on brand name. Also, the survey doesn't take into account business purchasers. What would have been "more" interesting is to see the trend over time (keeping the data collection method the same). Ask yourself why AMD STILL has to price their chips 25% below Intel's if AMD is starting to reach parity in consumer's minds??? Bottom line: the survey results are crap. joey
