4-UR: A lot of what I'm reading here is similar in tone to commentary expressed in the days IBM was at their nadir. Will the comparison hold? Only time, as they say, will tell. Still, MOT's clearly at another "fulcrum" moment in its history and may, with further D.D., be worth a wee bit of long term monies. After all, logic dictates that the best time to enter an issue is when the cat-a-wailing is at its height and share holder value amounts to blood in the streets. Heh!!
As for that "maybe they'll be bought by ERICY." Jeez, I hope not. I can tell you this about ERICY. I've NEVER been impressed with ERICY's network switching vehicles. They're uniformly awful, and full of functional bugs. Their switches may be of value in places like Eastern Europe, but here in the U.S.A such OEM's as Lucent's 5ESS's and Nortel's DMS line continually eat ERICY's lunch. Of course, other product areas are better, but their AXE line ain't real swift.... But I digress, this is about MOT.
My D.D. continues.
Regards!
