The FDA assigns an IND for Phase I, II, or III trials. A good
example of this was the abortion drug a couple of years ago called
RU-486 (this was its IND). A medline search of allervax or
immulogic return nothing. The usual way to do research is with the
IND. Another company that I have bought ( I own zero IMUL ), a couple of years ago is POSS. They have quite a few things in Phase
II/III, and are currently approved in Europe.
