I re-visited the ESSI home and associated pages and it answered a few of the questions I have had but it also raised others -

1.Hyp.imaging is well suited to baseline mapping for pipelines. I guess this means they may be interested to go for the major Russia/Middle East pipeline proposal that was covered three weeks ago in Time magazine!

2. Satellites produce lower spatial detail than the probe which makes the probe unique in its ability to produce the finer detail required to pick up the spectrum of minerals(which satellites cannot do)!I had thought there may have been other technology that could do a similar job to the probe but apparently not!.

3. I note that Yahoo's stock quote page is now showing a capitalization figure(at 20.4 million!)

4. Yahoo provides a link (12 May) to the purchase contract ESSI has entered into for three Phoenix fan jets for delivery in the third quarter of 1999. However, there is no detail of this in any of the press releases prepared by Scott Peyron that I can find ( or mention of it in their home page). To purchase three jets for delivery so far out suggests to me that ESSI has a very long term business plan. Why have we not had some info. on this from ESSI?

5. The ESSI AGM was way back in Oct 1997, we have not had any really useful reporting since then that I can find, certainly not the sort of financial info that helps in making investment decisions. ESSI have been trading on the board for over twelve months now and we should be due to receive an annual report any time. I propose to send an E mail to Scott Peyron today asking that question!

regards Paul
