I am curious, I am a neophyte investor (been in the market but function as a gambler as I do not read quarterly reports etc) anyway I rode AMAT from 26 to 107 did not get out and now hold 200 shares. I realize now that many on this thread use AMAT as a trading opportunity not a long term holding as I desire. My goal is to buy and hold for 15 years minimum. My question, am I a fool to hold this stock or should I get out now ???? I'm curious how many long term holders just hang tough through these whipsaw cycles and how many actually time to big money???
