Intel Updates MPU Prices

Intel Corp., Santa Clara, Calif., today is scheduled to update its
desktop processor prices. According to pricing updates provided by
Intel customers, the 400-, 350-, 333-, 300-, 266-, and 233-MHz
Pentium II will sell for $722, $519, $412, $305, $198, and $198,
respectively. The prices of the 300- and 266-MHz "Covington"
processors will be $159 and $106, respectively. The prices of the
233- and 200-MHz Pentium with MMX will remain at $134 and $95,
respectively. All prices reflect lots of 1,000 units.
