<OKAY, I WILL TELL MY WEALTHY BROTHER IN LAW, BUT IT IS NOT SOMETHING I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO.>
Don't worry about it. If he laughs at you, you may well have the last laugh, if he ends up being right, hell, lie to him.
I told my semi wealthy, younger brother the lawyer, yesterday, expecting to be scoffed at.... nope, he told me the story of one of the jr. partners in his firm who bought a bucket full of the x company in the well under $1 range, in his RRSP (like your RSP, I think). When he was done selling, his RRSP was $7MM richer, and I'll bet 1/2 the lawyers in Edmonton know about it.
The whole firm will be on their computers checking out MINE on Monday and the secretaries will hear, tell their husbands, boyfriends, friends, etc. and once again, on and on it goes, until pretty soon those SOB's that spoiled our fun on Friday will be wanting to buy shares from people like you and me. And they ain't getting any of mine MINE, not for a while, and not for pennies, even if they are U.S. one's and therefore semi large.
ps: MINE has been, and will be again, a momo play (gawd I love using words recently learned, wish I could fit a jitney or two in here) but pretty soon the momo little ripple, will turn into a ground swell, that will turn into a tsunami of mega proportions IMHO, of course. |
