Back in March you commented that the Veeco SXM CD-AFM was not production ready, and was just a fun toy. They have now merged with Digital Instruments, who also makes AFM tools. Are you familiar with the Digital Instruments tools? Also, Veeco is acquiring this company so that they will be the dominant supplier of AFM. They have stated that they expect AFM to be a critical metrology tool at .13u. What do you think of this claim?
