Approximatyely 50% About 35% is from an the increase in clock speed and about 15% for the increase in level one cache size.

I also suggest you look at the "Benchmark Score Comparison Surveys" at the System Optimization Information web site at
sysopt.com They have a lot benchmark scores there for various CPUs. However, they don't supply an executive summary and it takes a long time to make sense out of all of the data they provide.

Networm, are there any web sites that summarize benchmark results in a format that can be quickly read and interpreted?
