Pixar sweeps animation industry's Annie Awards

``Toy Story'' garners eight prizes, including Best Picture

HOLLYWOOD--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Nov. 21, 1996--The big story at the
animation industry's Annie Awards this year was ``Toy Story'' -- the feature
film created by Pixar Animation Studios, which ran away with all eight top
motion-picture honors, including Best Animated Feature.

``Toy Story'' swept every Annie Award category in which it was nominated.
These include: Directing, which went to ``Toy Story'' director and Pixar
Vice President John Lasseter; Producing, awarded to Ralph Guggenheim and
Bonnie Arnold; Writing, received by Andrew Stanton, Joss Whedon, Joel Cohen
and Alec Sokolow; Production Design, awarded to Ralph Eggleston; Animation,
which went to Pete Doctor; and Music, for which Randy Newman was awarded.

Pixar Animation Studios also received a special technical- achievement award
for the extraordinary advances in three- dimensional, computer-generated
animation showcased in ``Toy Story.'' The Annie Awards are sponsored by the
International Society for Animated Films.

``Toy Story,'' 1995's top-grossing feature film, has already garnered a
Golden Globe nomination for Best Picture, the first-ever animated film's
Academy Award nomination for Best Screenplay and a special
technical-achievement Oscar. The film, which was released by Walt Disney,
has grossed more than $190 million domestically and more than $350 million
worldwide.

Wonder if this will have any effect today. I see good support at 15 to 15 1/2 and this stock looks oversold right now. Maybe a good time to buy some more? Who knows? Good luck all.
