Dear Jan: SG&A stands for Selling, General and Administrative expenses. This is a number I only guessed at. However, you will note that it is roughly 10% of gross sales. Such a number in the business world is usually considered TOO HIGH so if they were to exceed this percentage, with sales of this magnitude I would think they would be subject to criticism for failure to manage effectively. I dont think Jenkins and team are ineffective managers.
Yes, if they timely hire the additional 150 engineers and such number turns out to be a NET increase my 400 estimate is low and I so state at the bottom of the message.
The 35MM of hardware sales was supplied to me but to the best of my knowledge it includes NO cd-rom sales merely the hardware that they have always supplied as part of their complete contract on base business. JDN
