At least twice. NASD logs from ABQ Court records scanned with a less than 100% OCR.

03/13/97: discussed with Dianne Thorndyke of Stock Watch (301) 590 6421 the Press Releases from Asensio regarding the possible default on the $33mm loan from PheMex Establishment, or Deutsche Bank. I led the Loan Agreement referenced in Asencio's Press Releases. I could only detennine that the Company may be in violation of one covenant. (Acensio has not returned calls to NASDR to substantiate his claim that the company is in default and that it has violated five and possibly seven covenants.)

06/17/97- returned Manual Asensio's call (212) 702-8800, re: Solv-Ex. He indicated that he had called Perry Peregoy and indicated that he had material he wanted to show us about Solv-Ex. He indicated-that he is short Solv-Ex stock and had written Mr. Peregoy a letter. He indicated to me, something that Mr. Peregoy had not indicated, that Mr. Peregoy was making arrangements to visit Mr. Asensio and looking at his documents. I told Mr. Asensio that. Mr. Peregoy would be making the decision on whether we should visit his offices and review the material, and that we are taking it under advisement.
