But keep in mind that DSL is not "dial up" access so you are locked in to your ISP.

As it was described to me at last year's Internet Expo by a Bell-Atlantic guy, you got your ADSL connection from them but you still went with one of two local ISPs for your e-mail address, web page etc.

Unfortunatly he also said it would be available in NYC during the first half of '98, not! I can't get them or either of the two local cable companies to tell me when fast access will be available. Hello ... I want to give you money ... doesn't anyone want it? Boo-Hiss! I hope they're at PC Expo in a couple of weeks so I can ask again.
