That's very interesting, considering that a pretty well-known broker (who no longer posts on SI, at least under his own name) has has vouched to me, personally, for s martin's character and intentions.
It's also interesting that "s" didn't mention Riley's biggest "scam", BTIM. That only went from 2 to 80 (pre-split). It still sits at 8 1/4 or so (post 3/1 split) and is ready to break out. This is another one which has been heavily, very heavily, shorted.
I do believe that Riley is here to "bust the shorts" and to provide good information on investments.
Insofar as "busting the shorts", it may be a "Don Quixote" type of thing insofar as tilting at windmills, but I happen to like it.
I realize that we will not beat the MM's at their games in the overall war, but it is nice to take them in an occasional skirmish.
